PRINCESSPRINCESS is an acronym for PRINCE2 Run IN Collaborative
Environments Supporting Scrum". PRINCESS brings together two internationally recognised frameworks, PRINCE2 and Scrum, and teaches you a pragmatic approach to managing Scrum in a collaborative way that connects seamlessly with your organisation’s PRINCE2 governance expectations. |
While Scrum is the most widely used agile delivery framework in New Zealand, it lacks the project management practices that many senior managers typically expect when embarking on major projects or programmes of work. However, many of these same organisations are already using the PRINCE2 project management framework to provide this overall project control and organisational alignment.
The challenge for organisations new to Scrum is maintaining the management control provided by PRINCE2 while at the same time achieving the rapid delivery benefits of Scrum. At first these seem like two competing objectives.
