Our certification body for PRINCE2, Managing Successful Programmes, Better Business Cases, PRINCE2 Agile and Agile Project Manager is APMG International
All good certification bodies have their rules, to protect the integrity of the process, and APMG is no exception.  One of those rules is that we can only offer exams to those who have completed a certified course.  While we provide the best courses available (along with excellent support) there are still some people who want to study and sit their exam on their own.  In this case we suggest that you purchase the exam directly from APMG.

Public Exams offered by APMG

APMG ceased to run public paper based exams in Aotearoa/New Zealand in 2015.  They now generally offers these online.  While the exam content is developed by APMG the online exams themselves are run a third party provider ProctorU.  This is the service that we also use for our online and self-study courses and for most people it works well..  You need to be aware that APMG takes the integrity of their exams seriously and therefore there are requirements for sitting the online exam.  You should read the instructions carefully, follow the process and prepare for this.

Disadvantages in Exam Only Options

It is core to Project Results values that we respect individuals choices and aim to provide them with the highest balance of information in making this choice.  So we respect that it suits some people to drive and manage their own study.  We do want you to be aware of the following disadvantages studying without the support of an Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) or Affiliate:-
  • Candidates will need to purchase their own manuals (although you can do that through us), find the sample exams themselves and manage the exam booking process themselves,
  • You will not get our experience the method, pragmatic application, studying and passing the exam,
  • Any exam issues will need to be resolved by yourself,
  • You will need to manage your own timing,
  • You will probably need to read the manual from cover to cover,
  • You may find that the financial savings are not that high especially when you consider our online and self-study options.
